Does anyone know if a brother and sister have ever won their respective Men's and Women's World Championship in the same sport in the same year? Avery and Valerie Jenkins are four holes from accomplishing that. Valerie just repeated as the Women's World Champion and Avery has four holes to go.

Two holes to go and now Avery is tied. I know SI and the major media won't cover this, but it is the world championship in one of the fastest growing sports in the world.
