My US Open Favorites = 1- Murray 2- Federer 3- Roddick 4- Djokovic 5- Del Potro

Murray is the one that everyone is expecting to finally breakthrough and win a major. The pressure is all on him, especially because this is his best surface with his best ever slam result.
I didn't put Federer as the #1 favorite to win the US Open because noone really knows what his mindset is going to be right now. Does he take his foot off the gas after an incredible summer (i.e. 2GS & twin girls)? No doubt he'll be in the semis but perhaps he'll be less determined to win this time around.
If Roddick plays like he did at Wimbledon then he'll be in the finals. Djokovic & Del Potro have an outside chance because it's their favorite surface but neither will be able to win without playing their best and having some good fortune along the way.

At best, Nadal is a "darkhorse" to win the US Open and will have a very tough time getting past the semis.
