The lakers would have been better off if they traded Bynum or Gasol for one of the best power forwards of today, C. Boozer. That would have left them with:

PG Farmar (by the way he deserves to start over Dfish)
SG Bryant
SF Artest
PF Boozer
C Bynum

No need to have re-signed Odom, could have saved millions!

Instead of:
PG Fisher
SG Bryant
SF Artest
PF Gasol
C Bynum

Had to resign Odom with iffy big front court
