NFL  > New York Jets  > WR's are a dime a dozen

The WR position, although it is necessary, shouldn't be that hard to fill. While it's hard to get a starting caliber QB to direct an offense, skilled positions like RB and WR are not that hard to find a guy to come in. Especially if your looking for a #2 player. Just think, right now if you needed a #2 RB you could get Warrick Dunn, Shawn Alexander, or any one of the Broncos RB's that are annualy dumped.

So why is it that the Jets need a #2 WR, because the group isn't stepping up so far, all the articles are acting like it's the end of the world? Off the top of my head, aside from Plaxico "gunman" Buress, the Jets could sign Joe Horn, Matt "coked out" Jones, or a littany of other pretty good WR's. This team could work out next week Darryl Jackson, or Ike Hilliard who was pretty good with the Bucs even if he's a gray beard. If any 1 of those guys can still play, I say sign them, put Chansi Stuckey in the slot, and get to work. The #2 guy on this team is only get catch around 50 passes for the season which breaks down to 3 or 4 a game. Not worth trading over. Just make do, or sign one of these experienced WR's.....and preferably one that can run block for the 2/3 of the time the team is running the ball.
