Bucs sign wide out Mario Urrutia, is this a good choice? I know nothing about the kid!!

Will he be a good addition to the team?

Will he be good enough to take a WR position from Clayton?

O will he fit in in the slot?

You do ask the best questions, Cap!.........*grins*

The dude is a graduate of Helsinki University, and he is 5 ft 10, 167, and runs the 40 in a 18.3. He speaks no English, and knows little or nothing about American Football. He was a soccer player in Sweden. He can kick, but he likes wearing wooden shoes when he does. He is fluent in Svengali and Lebanese. He is married to the former Ima Hogg and they have one daughter, Ura Hogg. In Sweden, the woman does not take the man's last name, nor do the children.

Good luck.

He played college ball at Louisville, that is all i looked up on the guy, i dont know if hes a good player or if he was in college, and you know me, im concerned as to if this was a good choice or not.

I dont think it was if he hadnt played anywhere as of yet.

I had googled him as well, and I got to thinking...why be serious, when Cap knows how to find info on someone......so I decided to get funny instead.........lol

August 10, 2009  01:41 PM ET

Well, only one way to find out if he's any good, is to play him and see.

LOL, yeeah you got me, and i agree just dont want to see the squad collapse early from a poor choice. But on the other hand the kid is fairly new to the NFL, he may just work out for our scheme, never know. I'll just have to sit back and CRY if i have to lol.

No........I made all of it up as I went........but, here in southeast Texas, there was a woman named Ima Hogg tho., and if I'm not mistaken, it was early part of last century....1920's or 30's?
The story told was she had a sister named Ura, but I don't think that's true. But Ima Hogg was indeed a real person.

I'd have changed my name if it was me, and I got old enough to do so..........*grins*

Here she is.......http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ima_Hogg

I was watching a Dodger game recently and Vin Scully mentioned a prominent family in the Atlanta area was named Hogg, and they named their daughter Ima.

I am not making this up.

And Bull Shirt that was really funny.

I don't know about the Ima Hogg in Atlanta, but the one I was referring to, is, or was, (she died in 1975) in Southeast Texas, and @Houston. Could be the same one....who knows?

I like bringing some humor to these sites, especially when the subject is beyond my knowledge...lol....

Cap is a friend, and I knew he'd probably peek and freak at what I said........lol....

I'm always doing this to some Bears friends as well.........I think one of them think my elevator is stuck between floors tho.........:-)

I believe he was on the Bengals last year, and got cut by them, so that's not looking too good. Can't be any worse than Michael Clayton I guess, what happened to that guy?

August 11, 2009  01:21 PM ET

He may have been cut by the Bengals, but he still has a chance to catch on with the Bucs. Sometimes being cut gets the players attention and they get down to business. He may be just what they need, and vice versa.

Injury, he's hurt, but all in all that was the guys first season in the NFL 08 with the Bengals.

Do you know enough about the kid to think he has the ability to improve to the NFL's calaber?

Nope, I know he has the size, but I believe he was undrafted out of Louisville. I believe he could of went possibly as a third rounder, but his teammate Harrry Douglas had a better year and got noticed more often.
