Michael Vick hung dogs from trees and electrocuted them with jumper cables. Thanks, Eagles. What a great role model for the kids.
There Goes all my season tickets. I'm sone withe the NFL until Vick is out of it or retires. You would've thought the money hungry, grab everybody we can teams like Dallas Or New England would've ate him up.
They keep saying Vick did his time and should be forgiven? 2 Years? 2 Years in a posh cell? This is not the first time he has been in trouble, so how many chances should we give him?
Any other normal human being would've still been in jail for another 20 years. Pulling Female dogs teeth out so they cannot fight back and defned themselves? Electrocuting dogs if they don't fight?
Maybe someone should pull his teeth out one by one and let him feel that pain or electrocute him from a tree.
The NFL is getting worse than the NBA now. Once a Thug, Always a Thug....
I'm of the belief that "maybe" Jerry Jones may have learned a lesson with those kinds of people. Believe me, Philly fans, I didn't see Vick going there for sure, and my condolences for your management having a brain fart.
I knew some team would sign Vick, but Philly was the last I would have thought on my list.............."shaking head"
Damn so much hate .......... He is human right? Who's going to cast the 1st stone? There are cultures out there that eat dogs, right!! What he did was a crime, cruel, and many other things, but come on its time to move on. Oh and how many of you people eat burgers?
Well what's done is done... Yeah, a high profile team with a lot of media exposure already was the last place i would have thought also. Jacksonville or Seatlle made more sense, NFC East gets the most national TV coverage in the NFC could have been inticing for Vick's agent, maybe the game in Atlanta in December raised a eyebrow.
Just have to wait and see what affect this puts on the management with Fans and Corporate. I hear Vick has been having good relations with the humaine society but no support from peta. There's going to be a lot of protest from people who don't even follow football but know Vick for what he did. Also the nutty ones who just want to be on TV, who just protest just to protest because they have nothing more worth while to do like go to the dog shelter and save a dog from being put down because there's no more room at the inn for the animal.
I personally wouldn't turn my back on the game I love so much, My season tickets for one guy. I can say "WTF" and move on and stand behind my TEAM as their 12th man.
I really dont think it is that bad. there is nothing we average folk can do about this situation. What i find so funny is that so many people talk so much crap about how they are done with the NFL for letting Vick come back to play but i guarantee that eveeryone is gonna tune in to watch him play or at least check the highlights. If i were a Philly fan i would say "You know what i dont like the guy...but if he can come in and make plays to help us win then i am cool with that. The organization signed him for a reason. They are the "Experts" so let them do what they do. Everybody else is just a fan. If it works it works if not send him on his way. Vick played a role in some horrible stuff with animals but lets not forget Mr. Stallworth who got off way more easier for killing a human being and he is gonna be reeinstated next year. Personally i would keep 1 human life over 30 dogs any day of the week.

But then again...I'm am talking about Eagles fans here, If McNabb picks his nose with the wrong finger Eagles fans will booo him for that also.
You people hating Mike Vick saying he did this and that and dont deserve **** check yourself in the mirror first he paid his debt to society and the reason for our system isnt just to punish but wake people up but of course we have turned it into something else these days because of our poor attitudes. People alwasy screaming about church and god like they dont sin at all and our perfect. What have your done or are doing wrong that hasnt been brought to light and you should have been punised for?? Check yourself and forgive how hard is that to do I mean seriously if he @&**s up again we all know what happens he faces more scrutiny everyday of his life now becasue of unforgiving people who dont even worry about the young kids dieing in the streets everyday what are you doing to save them and change their lives??

philly was already a good team. vick could make them better. think donavan might feel a little pressure now? i'm glad dallas didn't sign him. i think he will create PR problems for philly immediately. BUT, i believe they will die-off pretty soon and they will have one heck of a back-up that could eventually take over. philly took a gamble.... one most teams would not even consider. time will tell if it pays off, but for a team already loaded w/ potential, getting past all the initial hype.... this could prove to be a boost to an already strong team.

vick is now the best backup qb now
HOW DO FIGURE HE'S THE BEST BACKUP, HE HAD THE WORST PASSER RATING WHEN HE PLAYED EVERYDAY, NOW AFTER A 2 YEAR LAYOFF HE'LL SUCK FOR SURE. JUST ANOTHER FINE ADDITION TO THE ARMPIT OF THE NFL. GO PHIILLY . U SUCK!

look at dallas last yr and when romo went for a mth w/ broken pinky..... their backup was HORRIBLE. could they have used vick?? heck yeah! brad johnson was so poor it was hard to watch. philly gave vick 1 yr contract for 1.6 w/ option for second yr IF they want. after all the questions and comments the first few wks.... this will end and philly will have a good backup.
