MLB  > General MLB  > The Art of Blowing a Save?
August 18, 2009, 07:45 PM
As a die hard Cubs fan, I have grown to be scared everytime Kevin Gregg takes to the bump in the 9th inning. And what am I more afraid of, when he was a lead in the 9th....strange right. Last night Gregg blew his 6th save of the year. I asked myself "How hard is it to get three outs?" and "Are you working at trying to lose." Am I being too hard on him or should I not expect my closer to perform. Do I owe credit where credit is due to the Padres offese in their tenacity to come back and win it?

I have started A new and invigorating sports group/blog where Facebook sports lovers like myself can discuss what is on their mind in the world of sports. I will post a new thread to discuss every Sunday and Wednesday as well as a user submitted question/comment every Friday will be the focus of Spor-cussion. Questions like this one will pick your brain every week. Let your voice be heard!

Ether go to the website below or search Spor-cussion on Facebook. I look forward to discussing with you.
