NFL  > New York Jets  > Jets are Trading for....

According to many reports, the Jets have been actively speaking to teams about wide recievers. Some names mentioned, Brandon Marshall of Denver, Dwayne Bowe of KC, and Anquan Boldin of Arizona, what are your thoughts??

Dwayne Bowe. Lets just say I wouldnt sell my season tickets if he were traded. He's doesn't seem like a team guy, he's just a show-boat who flexes his arms after every routine 4 yard completion(on 3rd and 10). He has hands of stone also. He will make amazing catches then drop the ones thrown right to him.

Haven't seen enough of him. Though, if you look at his numbers last year, very impressive considering the qb situation that was going on. It would take alot more to get Bowe then Marshall, and i think Marshall is better anyway.

I'd take any of the above, We might have the weakest recieving core in the league right now, I mean Crotchery is our #1. This guy would be lucky to play flex on some other teams in the league. I don't what we have on the block, but a big name WR is something the Jets could use.

agree, i like cotcherty, as a #2 though. If they could find a way to get Marshall, i would do it in a heart beat. As talented and young as Marshall is, i dont think he would cost as much as a guy like Bowe. He's had some injuries recently and his character issues, may make it easier to aquire him.

I agree with almost everything spinvil said, but here's the problem... Bowe is all the Chiefs have. They traded Tony Gonzalez and have very little faith in Larry Johnson. The Chiefs don't have a legitimate #2 or 3 receiver. They are switching to an offense that features an exciting passing game... Don't they need someone to throw the ball to? What do you think the Jets would offer?

Brandon Marshall is the type of receiver that can single-handedly accelerate the development of a young quarterback; in this case, rookie Mark Sanchez. Think Plaxico Burress helping Eli Manning improve, as Marshall is a similar-type receiver when motivated. He's pissed at Denver's front office, so I'd love to see him in Jet green.

I would assume draft picks. They have rumored to have Jones on the block, but with LJ in KC, that would'nt make sense. Again, i think it would cost the jets alot more to get Bowe, then Marshall.

Brett Favre?

lol...just joking.

The best WR of those 3 is clearly Anquan. Dude is a beast after the catch, and doesn't have any off the field problems like Marshall who has been arrested like 10 times since he's been in the league, and also injured himself wrestling with friends last offseason. I only wish the Jets could land Anquan

i hope they do nothing

where did you read that. i cant tell if you are making it up or not cause it could be a realistic trade, but i cant find any site that says this.

hes being dumb However i wouldnt doubt that they get someone and throw away some big time picks for a win now mentality after all they have alot of the PSL to get ride of still and this is the last season before we get into our HUGH KICK ASS STADIAUM however they dont want to wast the cap room therefore there looking for a 1 year deal with possible big pay off in the uncapped season to intice some big name players anquon bouldon i doubt it Brandon Marshall Not likely i think it well be someone not in the news there making a deal with as we speak they just dont know who yet
