And now, Here is Chet Brinkley and David Huntley with the latest Sports news of January 2067.

Chet Brinkley;

Brett Lorenzo Favre has passed. Born in October 1969, in the former seaside town of Gulfport, MS, now known as Favreport, he had turned 98 years old three months prior to his untimely passing this morning. He was employed by the Saskatewan Rough Riders of the Canadian Football League, where he was the team's quarterback. He was last in every catagory and record kept by the league, but was still able to throw interceptions. He led the CFL and NFL in interceptions for the past 58 years.

He is of French and Choctaw ancestry; one of his paternal grandparents was a Native American affiliated with the Choctaw. The Choctaw tribe, in honor of his memory, are thinking of re naming the tribe from Choctaw to Favretaw or Chocfavre... but a majority is need to do this, and there is no word of that as of yet.

Favre started his football career at the former University of Southern Mississippi, now known as the University of Favre in Southern Mississippi. where he earned a teaching degree with an emphasis in special education and another degree in the art of straddling fences, otherwise known as "yo-yo-ing", or the inability to make a permanent decision on any given subject.

Update.

Brett Favre is now un passed. According to a recent report just in, he has 'awakened" and decided he wasn't ready to be passed. According to Jim Q.Oliver, our reporter on the spot, Favre has granted him an interview, and is saying he is coming off the dead list and will be reporting back to work as soon as he can get out of bed. He says he still can play QB and is looking forward to being on the field again with the kids.
