The rule of thumb in preseason is to never take anything very seriously.

Yet the 1st half of (preseason) game 3 is usually the best look you'll have at your starting team. Both teams usually play all the starters for the 1st half, so your going to see the same players that will be on the field in Game 1 of the season.

Next week the starters cannot get off the field fast enough and the coaches have to make the final cuts after that game so the players on the bubble will get all the playing time.

What does this say about how good the Saints are or how bad the Raiders are?
