Can I really be the only person on this planet that WANTS to talk about current jags news? I understand that if you're from J-ville, you're subject to the overwhelming sway that the Florida Gators have (and have had for some time) on football interests ALL over the area. I understand that if you're not from J-ville, it's difficult to really get into the daily monotony of the off season ongoings of a team that has been underachieving of late. But how can it be that the last post on Jaguars Nation was about the impact of Donovin Darius' departure from our Jacksonville Jaguars? So much has changed at the safety position since then, not to mention every other position. I'm not trying to shame the poster of the Darius blog, but rather shame those who refuse to show interest (you know who you are) in this team. This team is 1 of only 32 teams in a league that completely dominates all other sports in this country....COMPLETELY, I say. I guess that most of the blame should be placed squarely on the shoulders of those supposed football fans who've been to games here and still could care less, because after all, out-of-towner's will never like something that even the local fan base won't support. But even those who support the team from a distance need to do their part in ensuring that their team will stay original. There will only be 1 Jacksonville Jaguars EVER. But it sure would totally and completely taint the history of this great franchise to be carelessly handed off to some city that probably wouldn't even notice that it was awarded ANOTHER NFL team (you, as well, know who you are) just to pay less attention to it than we do currently. The solution is simple. Just care about what goes on with the team, good or bad....start giving a crap NOW.
