I agree. They aren't going to. And even if they did, it isn't that big of a deal. Plenty of teams have backed into the World Cup and done well (or like they usually do).
They need to do something about Maradonna, though. They can't seriously plan on going into the World Cup with him as their head coach.
Interesting possiblities today. CONCACAF is messed up right now, but we'll see if it clarifies a little today. Meanwhile, Chile and Paraguay can clinch direct qualification to the World Cup. And most groups in Europe are still somewhat jumbled. Scotland can be eliminated with a loss. France will have to qualify via playoff with a loss. Portugal is in real trouble.

Agreed. Everyone and their mother knew that this wouldn't work out. He's just too big of an idiot.
Thanks a lot Argentina......this is the way you re-pay me for my obviously mis-placed confidence in you? Would the real Argentina please stand up?
I am here to say.........I was wrong. Argentina is in shambles. One report I saw said they only had 2 shots against Paraguay.

Maradona has to go. That is absolutely terrible what he has done.
At this rate....I was right that they wont be in the play-off....they wont have enough points to get there.

Exactly its not that people are worried that Argentina won't qualify or move into that playoff spot. Its the manner of they are playing and being coached. Maradona is a joke.
