NCAAF  > Texas Tech Red Raiders  > Spread QBs in the NFL have something in common.

Gram Colt Chase next year T and T. These guys are just what the NFL needs. When Chase or Colt where in the shotgun or where allowed to move the pocket they looked great. Colt went 9-10 with 2 TDs. Chase looked great has well. But then the QB coaches come in, and want them to stay in the pocket and throw to a planned spot. Spread QBs need to be able to extend plays, not sit in the pocket like a sitting DUCK. Just look at the teams that are real good in the NFL, Its because there QBs our allowed to extend plays, not just to throw to a spot where the WR is suppose to be. I know there have been bad spread QBs coming out of college in the league. But so what!! look at Matt from USC or Booty, CB and Chase play a lot better then those guys. I think guys like Gram will get there shot. But it would be easier on him if Colt plays good at the NFL level. Chase will have a harder time showing is stuff playing behind Drew. I know there was a lot of hate towards Colt Brennan from you guys. But right now the Redskins players like Colt a lot, they say he has game, from Cooley to Moss Portis. Colt will get his chance next year, and hopefully the NFL goes to more of spread type of Offenses, Like NE and the Cards this should open doors to Gram. Right now NFL teams our approaching Coaches like Meyers and June Jones to talk about the spread, And if they do implement some part of it, not all of it, we have the QBs already to go out there and make the NFL a lot better. then this outdated WCO Hope Gram is part of this!!!
