If Richard Seymour wants to make the best of a bad situation :

1) Speed thru his 10 step recovery program .
I understand he must feel like theres been a death in the family ( his own ) , but he's got to pull himself together and move on .
Shock / Denial / Anger / etc.. , etc. ...

Skip ahead to acceptance and catch a flight to Oakland .

2) Adress his new teamates and let them know it was nothing personal .
( I bet there isn't a player in that locker room who doesn't wish the deal was for a 1st round pick AND themselves )
His new Raider teamates will rightfully welcome him with open arms .

3) Sit down with the D - Line Coaches & CRAM - CRAM - CRAM !
( Luckily , D-Line play isn't rocket science - you've played enough snaps in your day to recognize where the ball is going PLUS the most important thing is STRENGTH - which u have in spades )

4) SUIT UP IN THE BLACK n SILVER ON MNF AND BLOW UP THE CHARGERS LEFT SIDE OF THE LINE !
SHOW THE WORLD WHAT U ARE MADE OF
( and make the Pats sorry they ever dealt u )

5) Repeat steps 3 & 4 for the next 16 weeks and collect a FAT Paycheck .
