I don't think its too early to start looking at who we're gonna select with the #1 pick in the draft next year. Suggestions? McCoy? Tebow? Best?

If Ryan Mallett enters the draft, he will likely go in the 2nd possibly 3rd round. Taking him there would be ideal. He has a very strong arm and makes good decisions. With the first pick, I think taking OT Russell Okung is a good move in a weak OL draft class or,DTs Ndamukong Suh/Gerald McCoy. Build the team from the inside out.

OR

If Mallett does not enter the draft, take Clauson with the first pick, move back into the first round and take Golden Tate(assuming he does not fall to the 2nd round). Already having a great connection will speed up both of their learning curves. Give a 5th rounder to Oakland for Michael Bush(or go after Mike Bell from New Orleans). Trade Steven Jackson, a team in win now mode will easily give up at least a low 1st rounder for him. Use that pick on someone like...OT Ciron Black (its all a huge streach, but could work..lol)

I don't know if Best is going to enter the draft for one. I think Colt McCoy is the best QB entering the draft and a National Championship Game between Florida and Texas would let people get a better indication who the better QB is. Jake Locker of Washington is pretty talented, he just happens to have been on a terrible team. I don't know if I would trade Stephen Jackson. He's their only offense and only player that shows up and plays every game. You have to have at least one leader on the team.
