NFL  > Buffalo Bills  > How will the Buffalo Bills lose next?
September 15, 2009, 02:07 PM
this thread is dedicated to how the Bills can pull off another memorable heartbreaking loss for their fans that is likely to happen...please contribute:

ok, the Bills are down by 2 on the 19 yard line with 3 seconds ont he clock in the 4th and kick a field goal as time runs out and it's good!, but wait, tampa bay has 12 men on the field so jauron throws the red flag and gets penalized 5 yards for throwing the flag within 2 minutes of the the end of the game. Meanwhile Rian Lindell pulls his groin and tells nobody and the down gets replayed for some reason. Lindell, knowing that he pulled his groin picks the ball up after the snap in stead of kicking, takes a knee and says "oops, i pulled a bills!"....

tampa bay wins somehow...

i am so disgusted with the bills right now! i paid alot for tickets each year and every year they so something to make me think why did i purchase those tickets. I am a die hard bills fan, but i feel like i am the only one dying, they dont care they dont have no passion, if they do, then they are all just stupid players. a smart player would know game time situation, bills players are selfish players, I am getting tired of this, i live in new york maybe it time to become a giants fan?

You know..I sympathize with the Bills fans, but..........it can always be worse. You could be a Lions fan, where your team sets records for losses. No disrespect to the Lions fans, of course.

Look at it like this.........There was once a man who complained all the time because he had no shoes. Until the day he met a man who had no feet. Not trying to be some confuscious here, but things will change.

Remember it was just the first game, and the Bills came pretty close to beating the Pats. Yes, mistakes were made, of course, but a baby has to crawl before it can walk, so hang in there.

Worst comment I picked up this week is the returner of the kickoff said he would take it out again if the play came up! Running clock is more important than a KO. KO's are dangerous nice hand off up the middle! Great coaching the kid had!

I say that their next loss could come on the back of TO complaining that Fred Jackson is getting too many touches, after Jackson had 7 thrown his way to TO's 3....heck, he may complain about ALL the other people who caught the ball getting more thrown their way. Then he'll complain that it's a planned strategy by Trent Edwards and Jackson to play it that way. Thus creating a swirling vortex of disharmony, distrust, and confusion in the locker room.

Good game by the Bills, though. Brady and co were stymied all game. HOWEVER, They need to get that kick returner McKelvin on a leash. "That's just me" is NOT an excuse for bringing it out of the end zone when you're up by 11 on the Patriots with 3 minutes left. "That's just me" is something that a NON-team player says. SMART player would have given his team the ball at the 20 and let the running game take 1:30 or so off the clock. That guy's a liability. Glad he's on your team and not mine....just like TO

A smart player is like that Bronco who caught the tipped pass, and instead of running straight into the end zone, he fiddle farted near the goal line til some more time ran off the clock...........That's heads up there.

Of course, if he had someone on his ass he might not have done so, but, since he didn't, he did as he did. Good move.

First of all....you are correct that the Patriots stripped the ball. That play in itself was good...they saw a stupid player needlessly trying to make the ESPN highlights by taking a kickoff out of the endzone with 3 minutes left and an 11 point lead. They stood him up and stripped the ball from him. Course, if that numbnuts hadn't run it back out, NE would have had less then 2 minutes left when they got the ball with their 11 point deficit, and instead of being deep in Buf territory, would have been on their own side of the ball. Funny how ONE misplay by a self-centered dufus helped Buffalo snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. Heck...they didn't even need TO! They already have a selfish, me first player in McKelvin

own side of the field....not ball

First quarter: score is 24-10, Saints up. It'll get exponentially worse from there
