I don't think so. I think they have a Player in Pat White who can run and throw...it's just too soon for him to run it with precision. I think they should let Chad and the RB's run the offense and sprinkle in some wildcat, and behind the scenes try to accelerate Whites learning curve...hope by midway point he is comfortable. Part of the ideal wildcat package the is the ultimate threat to run or pass effectively. I would like to see McFadden utilize his ability more to run the wildcat in Oakland. Eventually I will be seeing Vick attempting it, and we'll see if he can be successful in that role.

Too early to abandon the Wildcat. White is at the bottom of the learning curve right now and will need time to develop. Season is early. Patience is a virtue.
Get rid of it, use it in specialty situations, that's all the play scheme really is. It will never amount to an offensive system that works consistently.

Still think this after last night? The Wildcat is average over 6 yards an attempt.
After watching Henne last night...I think we will see a more traditional offense. However, we certainly should not do away with the wild cat...we seem to be the only team out there who runs it with success. However, I think the Jets should can the seminole...that was just ugly.

why the hell would the dolphins stop running the wildcat after what they were able to do last night? they get more yrds out of the wildcat than some teams get out of the traditional running formations. there is no reason to stop the wildcat. i dont believe there is one team that can stop the wildcat. they said on the radio that the last team to do it was the ravens last year with rex ryan well guess what ryan had another chance last night and he couldnt stop them with the players is now has. maybe the only team that could stop the wildcat would be pitt because of troy p. he is fast and he is always all over the field. so in my opinion and im no expert by any means im just saying from what ive seen 1 outta 32 teams in the league could stop the wildcat.

Philly has been using the wildcat more this season. They tinkered with it last year and were so-so.
This year they have been averaging 5-6 yards a pop, maybe 5-10 times per game.
Believe it or not, Vick isn't the reason why either.
Shady McCoy and D-Jackson have been using it well taking direct snaps and running.

No, it's working. In fact it's working so well that it beat the Pats last year...twice...and beat the Jets this year. If you can use it to beat your division rivals, all the better, right? I'm not saying try to make it your bread and butter, but what's the harm in keeping it in your playbook? They even rolled out a 'jumbo' version last night.

The Wildcat is working just fine. Now if we could get GINN to catch the ball, that would open up additional threats on OFFENCE.

no keep the wildcat parcells knows what he is doing and what the team is best at i think from last year to this year is the best seasons miami had as a running team they dont have the great dan marino and never will again henne is a good quarter back but in order to last and stay strong they neede the wildcat and are great at it SO Go FINS keep up the good work sparano and parcell oh and JAWS you dont know what your talking about the wilcat does work very very well it turned a team from 1 and 15 to 11 and 5 last year and we are only 6 weeks into this season so before you start cutting down the wildcat and team sit back **** your piehole and watch !
No. If it helps you win, then run whatever type of offense you want.
Well if you put dolphin in a can and put it on the shelf as wildcat. Jessica Simpson might get confused and take it home for a pet.

really? why is that? The forward pass was a fluke too.
What if the Saints or the Eagles ran a triple option?
"If it ain't broke don't fix it". The Dolphins has the perfect set for the Wildcat. One thing is that they should try to add new wrinkles every other week or so. I hope Hillard can fall into what Cobb was doing. This is a week the wrinkle should come out!!!!
NO THEY SHOULDN'T..... BUT THEY NEED 2 RUN IT IN BETTER SITUATIONS. DON'T RUN IT ONCE AND LOSE 1 OR 2 YARDS, THEN RUN IT AGAIN RIGHT AFTER LOSS OF YARDS AND LOSE MORE YARDS!
They should still run it. It ain't bad if the lose yards. Chad Henne can always gun it down the field to Bess, Fasono, or Hartline. The dolphins will always run the wildcat. It is there specialty. Not even the Saints' defense can figure it out.
GO PHINS!

Lets see what it does this weekend at GS. Here is where the fins gets cut off the Dolphins. Bill has 2 weeks to plan for their ****. If anyone can shut it down the Pats will.
No more skulduggery. Eat $hit and Die Fins.

i think they should still use the wildcat, but reverse the setup. especially since brown is left handed.
instead of lining up on the left side, line up on the right, then pull protection with him to the left. probably have more success throwing the ball, not to mention that it would show a different look or wrinkle in the play. I do not think that they have exploited the pass with it enough. You get a couple touchdowns passing with the wildcat, then they can not stack the box, because they will have to respect the receivers, thus, that will open up the running game.
