OK, so this group of players, with this coaching staff, RIGHT NOW, is clearly a NFL doormat. Peter King is an insightful guy, but he's consistently been wrong about long-term predictions... he may be right about the CBs this year. I, hoping for the best, have prepared for the worst. I'm alright with a couple of shoddy performances; I didn't expect a playoff contender. I want some progress, that's all; I'd like to see the CBs finish strong. Has anyone seen ANYTHING positive so far? I have cable and live in CA, so I haven't seen any live action this year... highlights and statistics look grim... I'll never give up on Cleveland, or the Browns, but I am concerned with all the negativity I've seen on the boards, so far. Did Satan's brown-eyed cyclops, I mean Art, really manage to steal this city's soul, along with its team? I say it's about three years early for despair regarding this regime. What's one more year of watching the CBs figuratively tongue the hairy roots and coinpurses of better teams? All I hope for is effort and improvement. Come on Browns and fans, step up; it may not be the best plan, but it's a plan. As Gram Parsons sang: "Good things are comin' if we stick to the plan". No whining, not yet. Stick With It!
