Tennis  > General Tennis  > Post-Federer/ ATP 2012: Who Will Be The Next World #1?
September 25, 2009, 04:05 PM
The era of domination is clearcut. Between 2003 and 2009, Roger Federer has dominated mens' tennis. During this time, Rafa Nadal has been his only worthy adversary but bum knees have put that rivalry on ice.

All good things come to an end and so Federer's supremacy can only last a few more years at best (could he possibly get more than 20 Slams?). Nadal may dominate when Fed decides to hang it up but the odds are that it will be someone else. Andy Murray has a boring game and personality but he's right there. So is Juan Martin Del Potro but the year is tough for big guys like him. Who do you think will be the next dominant force in tennis?

ATP 2012
1- ?
2- Andy Murray
3- Juan Martin Del Potro
4- Rafael Nadal
5- Novak Djokovic
6- Roger Federer (If he's still #1 at this time then he's not human)
