NFL  > Cleveland Browns  > Why bench Quinn??
September 27, 2009, 04:52 PM
Why bench Quinn and not whoever is calling offensive plays. He only threw 8 passes, in all of the first half. He completed 6 of them against the #1 ranked RUSHING defense. Why didn't they let him pass at a 4 to 1 ratio? And how many times have I screamed to the Andersen fans that if he gets in there, he will air it out but throw interceptions. He threw 3 in only one half of play.

I am totally confused at the play calling, and then the decision to swap QB's and then totally change the style of play calling . Andersen threw more on his first 2 possessions than Quinn did the entire 1st half. The only reason that makes sense is that they were trying to set Quinn up to fail as an excuse to bring in Andersen. With their (transparent) play calling, that totally blows that plan out of the water.

I have been the guy yelling to stick with it and let the team gel, but after this fiasco, my patience is growing very short. They had better make their decisions carefully over the next week.
