Even though 49ers lost, they showed that they had some Grit.They just need to show that they can control the ball, like their last 3 and out, to conservative. Like I said before get rid of Jimmy Raye. Making the playoffs is looking more realistic, but it won't be through Frank Gore, since he is now projected to be out 2 weeks.

For sure the 49ers will be there for the playoffs....actually Im fairly confident they win the West. And Im sure Gore will be back in time to turn in a healthy contribution of ground yardage....only wish that it were Alex Smith under center instead of Hill....not saying Hill cant get it done but just have this feeling that when all is said and done that Smith is and will be the face of the 49ers....I do believe it will eventually be Smith that gets the team back to some Championship footbal!! Go 49ers....would to see a New England -San Francisco Super Bowl!

Smiths problem is accuracy, he has none. He can't throw on the run, and shows no leadership qualities. He does have a strong arm though. Shaun Hill has leadership that it. Nate Davis has a strong arm, pretty accurate, needs to learn. In 2010 you get one of those strong Q.B. drafts, use one of your 2 first round picks to get one. Make sure it's not Tebow though. I can think of 4-5 others.
