NCAAF  > General NCAAF  > The Tide is 6-0, Penn St. is 6-0, are we looking at a possible Sugar Bowl Rematch (1979)

Could there be a rematch of the 1979 Sugar Bowl in the making? If Alabama wins out, or is the SEC Champs with only one loss, and Penn St. runs the table. They could meet in the BCS Championship game to battle for the National Championship. This would effectively be a rematch of the 1979 NC game played between these two great schools. This game is probably most famously known for ???The Goal Line Stand???. Alabama won the game 14-7 with an amazing goal line stand late in the 4th quarter. Giving the University of Alabama there 10th National Championship, and the Great Paul ???Bear??? Bryant his 5th National Championship. I personally would love to see this match up. Guess we will just have to ride this crazy season out and see what happens. Good luck to eveyone, and there favorite team.
