Lets not forget the Sharks are 0-5-2 when opening on the road historically. However,Nabby looked like he was sleeping for the most part, but our D failed him.Heatley???!!!the pass from Pavelski was on the money and Heatley FANNED! I believe that Mclellan will find the chemistry this team is capable of. Heatley WILL get better as soon as Jumbo starts to trust him more.
I think we will get a much better idea on how the season will go when we play Anaheim on Sat.
GO SHARKS!!!

What an absolutely GREAT pickup Heatley was. Zero goals, Zero assists, and a -3.
You guys are jumping on Heatley way too fast. It's 1 game of 82 and this guy is a 50 goal scorer. Wait longer before calling it a busted trade. If his stats look like that after 10 games start getting worried but 1? Calm down and relax.
Who cares how they do in the regular season anyways? The only thing that matters for the Sharks is how they do in April. We've had Plenty of good regular seasons with 0 post season success. That's what I'm waiting for.
No offense, Pete, but Heatley was a non-factor in the game in any positive sense. I understand it's one game, but he certainly didn't show anything that looked too promising. He was the only Shark with a -3 rating for the game. As for scoring lines, Pavelski and Marleau look incredible together. I think Marleau will play this season hard to prove to McLellan that he really deserves to be captain.
Point blank, I've been a Sharks fan since they first put a team to ice, and root for them every game. I certainly hope we play better in tonight. Especially Nabby and Heatley. Nothing would make me happier than to be wrong about Heatley....I was just very unimpressed with his play the other night
I not to much of a heatley fan. But if he gets his head on straight San Jose will be the team to beat. Thornton is already deadly player. Ad a smart heatley to his line. Look out

On the other hand, Kudos to Marleau. 2 goals to at least make us not look totally foolish. This coming on the tails of being removed from the captain spot. He keeps leading us like this, and McLellan's gonna have to think about giving it back to him. Nabokov needs to play better. That was a pathetic showing by a goalie who has been our horse. If he's not up to par, we're in for a rough time this year.
3 goals 1 assist and + 6...How about them apples? Got anything else to say

Lol I was just coming back on to say the same thing. Now after 4 games hes got 4 goals, 5 assists and a + 2 rating. As I said before, you guys jumped all over him way too early after just 1 game.
Many jump on him because he Killed his teamate in ATL
Way to freak out wayyyyyyyy too early. Look what Heatley has done since then. He's been an incredible acquisation and I believe he will pay dividends in April, May and hopefully June.
I mean, if you are going to freak out about that game, you can't just blame DAny. Marleau and Pavelski were really the only two players who played well. Thornton, Boyle, Nabokov and co. looked terrible (aka the rest of the team)
