NCAAF  > General NCAAF  > Best CFB team in Ohio?

Is Cinny the best team in Ohio this season? Will they have a better record than The Ohio State University at the end of the year?

Cinny is undefeated. They have a great QB in Pike. Gilyard is a great all around threat.

what a great bowl game match up Cincinnati versus Ohio State. Pike versus Pryor. Kelly versus the vest. One team playing all out to win while OSU plays not to lose. A great matchup. Could it happen?

I will check out Kelly at ND! BUMP

Miami of Ohio, obviously.

They only lost to the Gators by 22.

Huzzah!

There was a drive by Miami late 3rd and early 4th where I thought the same thing. However, UF's defense limited them to a field goal. That took the wind out of their sails. Shortly after Demps exploded for a 70 yard TD.

Exactly, if not for that what 3 minute span? could have been a different ball game, Gators have to be happy to have a guy like Demps that can break a game open.

Coming out of "preseason", UF was supposed to have a bunch of them.

Still the "playmakers" looked like the players from last year instead of the group that torched Bama in 08 SEC CG (no Harvin). All the UF fans are waiting on the more of those explosions.

Thompson is still dropping beautifully thrown deep balls.
Rainey is playing like a 230 lb RB without the 230 lb power
Demps only looked dangerous for one play
Moody has issues with fumbles
Andre "the next Harvin" Debose did not play at all

The bright spots on offense:
Omarius Hines looked good in limited time
Mike Gillispee ran very hard but also fumbled.

I don't know but UF is scheduling them for their opener.

I recommend they keep limiting Omarius Hines' time.

That and greasing the ball.

"The Freak" label has been thrown out for Hines.

I was getting kinda jittery there for quite some time.

And if Miami had been blitzing LBs through the line and jumped on more of those chitty groundball snaps, that game had all the makings of an App St outcome.
