Flozell Adams made it through the game without getting a holding penalty and currently a trip or Leg Whip; film review in progress. Fed Ex letters from league to follow.

OOOh...I got another one...if we end up 6-10. we have a good chance at trying to draft some better WRs next year! LOLOL!!!

IF we end up at 6-10; you expecting them to turn this around?

October 4, 2009  10:37 PM ET

Well, we already have 2 wins, we play the Raiders once (1-3), Sea (1-3), KC (0-4), and Washington twice...so we should have a reasonable expectation for 6 to 7 wins.

The Boys will take the Chargers game, also.

That's really no guarantee. We have NO real threat in the passing attack (except Witten), and that spells trouble. It's gonna be just like last year when Romo went down with the broken finger....no pass attack=key on the run=stop our ground attack=losses. Last night was exactly what I feared...without Felix in the game, we really have NO homerun back that keeps the defense from loading the line. Choice and Barber are both good, but without that breakaway speed of Felix, we are must more containable. More teams are going to do exactly what Denver did...put 7-8 men in the box and dare us to beat them with the passing attack...and frankly, with our group of WRs, that isn't going to happen

Uncle Jerry, in his abundant wisdom, will trade for a .........cornerback. Last year, we needed help in the secondary and he send his minions to bring back Roy Williams, the WR, remember? Only this time, it's in reverse..we need a WR , so Jones will get us a defensive player.

*shaking head*......I'm kind of like that old Hee Haw song...."If it weren't for bad luck, we'd have no luck at all........gloom, despair and agony on me"..............lol

Maybe Jerry should ask Mrs Cleo for some advice this time

Jerry, if he listened to advice, would have 2 or 3 more SB trophies in the case.

We can wish he would, but you know that if wishes were horses, beggars would ride........lol

"Call me now for your free draft pick screening!" LOL!

Jerry needs to just understand that if he picks the RIGHT coach, gives him the REINS, he will be credited FAR MORE for HIRING THE RIGHT PEOPLE TO GET THE JOB DONE.

Do you really believe he would do that?.............lol

The man is so full of self importance, that he can't see the tree for the forest. He actually believes he is a GM.

I agree wholeheartedly with what you said, but maybe one day, Stephen will do the right thing.

I agree. I don't think he will change, but maybe if he loses enough games, he will be embarrassed and will get himself a coach and give him some control. We need to have our coaches making personnel decisions. I think that's why we still have Carpenter on the team...cause Jerry hates to admit failure of one of his "projects". We need WRs and GOOD DBs this year in the offseason...be it by draft or trade. Unfortunately, I think we'll probably still draft more TEs and LBs....things we have already

Dallas may need WRs or maybe they need Jerry to admit that his ultimate project may actually be average or less (Romo) and get a QB that won't hang his WRs out to dry. With a running game like Dallas has, you only need to have a good passing game to be a top team. I don't see the giants screaming they need a great WR, because their running game, eli, and good WRs are enough to put them in contention....just a thought.

Good thoughts too....not a thing wrong with what you said.

I myself think it's possibly the coaches doing, is why Romo isn't the QB he was in 07. Back then, he was let loose to do his thing, which was run, run and throw, escape pressure, etc. etc. He's not doing that anymore.....whether it's because of him, or the coaches want a "standard drop back passer". The coaches want him to become another Aikman, but he's more in the Staubach mode, if you ask me. Nothing wrong with Aikman, mind you, but that's not Romo, and as such, we're not seeing these fantastic plays he was making before, and hasn't, for the most part since 07.

Yes, we do need a good #1 WR. That goes without saying, but with Romo running around, looking downfield, someone is apt to get open, because some of the defensive players would likely let their man go and move up to help corral Romo, then Boom!....Pass to the open man.

I may be wrong tho, but that's how I see it anyway.

I agree. Romo has had some fantastic plays outside the pocket...maybe Garrett can call some designed roll-outs for him. I think Romo is NOT your prototypical pocket passer...he's more a Favre than an Aikman. He seems to read the defense better while on the run. Good point.

Wow...once again, another meaningless, pointless post. Why not go on the Duke boards and talk about how badly your Football team plays?

October 9, 2009  01:23 PM ET

The season's not over yet.

Now, if KC beats us, then it's either time to worry, or not worry. There's not much we can do about what the team does other than hope they get their ducks in a row.

Duke, your 49'ers are doing a lot better than you expected, are they not? This isn't much different in that our team is not doing as they should. You have yet to see any of us (that I'm aware of) come to the 49'ers site and say such as you do on ours. Well, other than Mr Phallus, and his elevator is stuck between floors.

October 9, 2009  01:28 PM ET

Flozell Adams is partially deaf, maybe that explains the excessive false starts? No one (not even Al Michaels) ever mentions this handicap, instead, these "false starts" are belittled and made fun of. Instead, the reality is, the penalties he committs due to a handicap is his fault? So why laugh at it but instead mention the miracle that he is in the NFL with a hearing handicap?? Ok, so the leg whip has nothing to do with his hearing problem....
