It looks like he got Tomlin's message last week. After being benched for speculations of not knowing the playbook against the Bungles, Mendenhall ripped off 166 yards and 2 td's against a pourous Chargers defense. Is he the real deal? Does Parker get the start next week? I don't think so. It was refreshing to see a running back in a Pittsburgh uniform hitting holes hard and smacking defenders in the mouth.
