NCAAF  > Texas Longhorns  > Longhorn Season

Well, we started off semi strong against the weak side of our schedule this season. We really should have gotten a bigger margin against Texas Tech, but a win is a win. OU - Bradford playing now but still probably not 100% - not a perfect record going into our game. OSU - Dez is out, not a perfect record going into our game. Hopefully LSU will beat Florida this weekend, which puts a tough voting pull between Texas and Bama for #1 - assuming they both win this weekend. It could be tricky on the voting. Our meat of our season is coming up, OU, OSU, Kansas, Missouri, Baylor, A&M(we all know on any given day.....) So the horns have to come out strong against Colorado, Colt McCoy needs to play the entire game to get his stats up level with the rest of the Heisman pool. I think it is mandatory for Colt to play every down going forward just to build that stamina in case we need him going forward to pull out of a hat to win any of the tough games we have coming. It will be interesting to see how the next few weeks pan out. Again, the game to watch is LSU vs Florida, and if LSU wins then to see how the top 5 lay out. Let's just work on 4 full quarters for our starters and no injuries and we will have legitimate arguements to be in 1st place if we win this thing out.

Hook'em Horns!
