NFL  > New York Jets  > Where Have All The "SPAM -CHEZ " Fans Gone ?

2009 Spamchez Stats
First 3 games : 4 tds , 2 Ints = game managment
Last 3 games : 1 td , 8 Ints = game damagement

1st off ...DISCLOSURE ...I'm a Pats fan .

2nd ... I actually think Sanchez is going to be a good NFL Qb .

The emphasis is on "going to be " .

In my opinion - he's become a victim of his early success - and ironically winning his 1st few games may actually have set him back ... REX thought he had the 2nd coming of BRADY , and put too much on the rookie Qbs plate
( unlike FLACCO's rookie campaign -where he was only asked to manage the contest )
Now instead of getting the usual rookie Qb grace period ~ SPAM is gonna have to deal with all the
J_E_T_S A_S_S_C_L_O_W_N_S .

Cue Jets bloggers ...

A giant slice of ''humble'' pie to all you jets !!.............Please rex, don't eat it all !.......lol !

October 19, 2009  10:25 AM ET

Just wait until the Jets lose another ugly one to the Raiders this week.

Sanchez will be back in his comfortable CA climate and he won't have the weather to blame.

October 19, 2009  12:56 PM ET

Its hilarious that patriot fans start more blogs about the jets than their own team. Truth is, the real jet fans dont care enough about the patriots to start blogs about them. pathetic, seriously. Sanchez will be fine, hes going to learn, Peyton struggled terribly his first season, not saying he's the next peyton, but its a learning experience. Rex is going to make mistakes as well. Real NE fans know how belichicks career started in cleveland. The jets were overachieving, and came into this season with low expectations to begin with. Now losing Jenkins for the year, the D takes a serious hit, it will be tough the rest of the way, but we'll see what kind of character they have.

so did Eli, and drew brees

They said he never played in cold weather until yesterday. Wonder if the Jets brass knew that before the draft?
He gets to go to Oakland this week, that should get him back on track.

So I guess what you're saying is REX RYAN will have limited success for a few years with the Jets ...then get fired ...go back to a D Coordinator position . . . and then become arguably the best head coach the modern game has ever known .
BEFORE you continue barfin' head coach comparisons out your blowhole you should take into account the following :
BB inherited a bad Browns team on the decline while RR has been given the reigns to a talented team that had a winning record just last year ( even though it was led by Eric the Rat )
Also -before u start making more excuses for why your fraud-based team is losing and will continue to lose ( see whining about injuries )
Understand this...
ALL TEAMS HAVE TO BATTLE THRU KEY INJURIES >
See the other NY football team for an example of a squad that sucks it up and gets-it-done

* Though of course not against N.O. (but no shame in getting beat by that team )

ps - For the record -At various times this season due to injury >The Pats have lost :
Mayo
Welker
Fred Taylor
Matt Light

pss - There is a big difference between HAVING character( see BB ) and BEING a character ( see RR )

Ha, BB has class, rigggght...like not shaking hands post game after a loss, but winning he tries to hug you. The guy is as fake as they come. Nobody expected the jets to be good this year anyway. thats not an excuse, its a fact moron. Claiming that Belichick struggled early on as a HC is not comparing Ryan to him in any way, its just another fact, but your a moron. HAHA, im still laughing at somebody saying belichick has class. Where is it? The guy has cheated and been caught, your probably to nieve to believe it though. Rex 1-0 vs. Bill.

October 19, 2009  04:20 PM ET

And comparing a guy like Mayo to Jenkins is absurd. Jenkins is the best DT in football, while Mayo wouldnt even be the best LB on the Jets. Get your head out of your ass.

Since this is rapidly evolved to name calling suspect I cannot get a turn in the events but Sanchez now has a "body of work" in the NFL so film is revealing his dirty little secrets and weaknesses and teams are exploiting. You see this often when a 2nd string QB goes in for injury or to replace a faltering QB (fans rejoice in the latter as there is generally a upswing in performance) and then once some 2-3 games of film is out there the Defense "cracks down" and the honeymoon is over. We'll see if Sanchez can improve his mechanics and techniques to try and prosper.
