Agree with most. I think Amare will be the best PF this year (at least offensively). Rashard Lewis is technically a small forward and was outplayed in the Finals by Gasol. My list would be:
1. Stoudamire
2. Nowitzki
3. Garnett
4. Gasol
5. Bosh

Didn't include Timmy because he'll play mostly center this year...

David Lee is a great player, but if he's one of the top 5, why did no team want to sign him this summer?

Amare

No doubt Timmy is probably the best PF of all-time. However, this season he is playing mostly center, so I think many people here feel he shouldn't be considered a PF this year. Interesting thought though, where will the NBA place him on the All-Star ballot?

How do you figure he will be playing mostly center? If this is true than your saying the past few years he has been a center. The spurs game plan hasn't changed its still in inside out offense. Inside meaning going into Timmy. The plays are still the same as tim at the PF. The spurs have not really had a TRUE center since david robinson was playing. All star ballots still put him as PF the past so IMO he is still a true PF and will be for the rest of his carrer.

Last few years, the Spurs played Thomas, Oberto, and others at the C position. This year, McDyess and Blair will get the majority of PF minutes, while Duncan and Ratliff will probably split time at C. Blair will get some backup at C too.

So when you talk about the best PFs THIS SEASON, I think people are thinking about who is actually going to play that position this year.

There is no difference between center and power forward anyway. Amare also plays a lot of center.
