i was concerned too after the first possession. atlanta looked crisp and we were 3 and out. but..... that's why we play 60 minutes!! dallas looked really good today. romo 3 TDs no INTs. romo and miles are getting better. only negative, and i hate to put a negative on a successful game like today, but ole Roy is a B U S T!! he drops balls he should have caught and romo will go to him less. such a shame JJ paid $45 million for this guy - can we bail on him? miles will want/deserve more $$ soon. LOL

The Cowboys are notorious for slow starts. As long as I've watched them, they usually start slow, and are more of a 2nd half team. But, they started in the 2nd quarter today and didn't let up til that late garbage TD by Atlanta.

I was concerned that Atlanta made better 2nd half adjustments and stole some of the momentum from Dallas. Dallas received the kickoff and fizzled near mid field and Atlanta rallied and scored to nearly erase the 17 unanswered points. Most disturbing was the Defensive offsides on 3rd and 2 with an incomplete pass, in essence continuing the drive for Atlanta. Hats off to JENKINS, great game from him and I have howled at him lots this year. Great hits from the secondary all day. I would say Newman gave up a few that you don't normally see.
Great game by Romo, we even some some wildcat but (surprise) a penalty kept it from ever getting started, next time.

They played a lot better than I was expecting.

They are now 16-5 after the bye. We need more byes......lol

I wonder what the Romo Haters are thinking now?.....:-)

I consider the Thanksgiving game as giving them a bye the following week. Years ago after Tex Schramm "LOCKED" them into the Thursday HOME game it dawned on the other teams that this was an advantage and they made a bid to unseat Dallas as a Turkey Day fixture. Dallas held on, until the next round.....we'll see if they ever get popped out of that game.

Yea they are for sure a 2nd half team..I dont get upset if they dont do anything in the first half, well I do but not as bad if they dont do anything in the 2nd half.

Maybe now those idiots who say the 'boys havent played a "real" team will finally ****..they annoy me with that ignorant ****.

I think that's why they now have 3 games on Thanksgiving. Dallas and Detroit are locked in, and the third one to satisfy any others.
