Listening to sports talk radio in Austin over the last few weeks I have begun to wonder what a true fan really is. It seems that there are those fans that are all full of smack talk leading up to a game or when things are going good but once things turn bad, it's as if they never heard the name of the team. Then there are those who NEVER seem to find anything right about the their team, even if they are in the run for the National Championship. Then there are those who never see anything bad about their team, they are always the best, always better than anybody else even if they were 150th in the rankings. And then there are some in-between the extremes.

So what is a true fan of college football?

The only fans that matters are Buckeye fans. The only team that matters is the Buckeyes.
