NFL  > Miami Dolphins  > Heartbreaking, get rid of Ginn
October 26, 2009, 01:30 PM
I have never seen two halves of football played so differently. During the first half, it looked like we had everything going right...what changed? I give the Saints a lot of credit for coming back like that, but I put a lot of the blame squarely on Teg Ginn's shoulders/ hands or lack there of.

I'm not sure what to take from that loss...it was unreal in my book. How can a defense give up so easily? How can a WR practically loose the game for your team?

All I know is after that game, I am left with more questions than answers. I still like Henne, and give him an out because this is his second game starting. But Ginn? Horrible.

What are your thoughts, what did you take from the game?

As the boyz on ESPN would say, "Come on man!"

I really don't see any justification in blaming a WR for blowing a 21 point lead. Here's what happened. You see, what had happened was the Dolphins came out firing and it worked. Instead of managing the clock and the lead, they got a little pass happy and you just don't get pass happy when your team is up 10+ points. No matter what reciever drops what passes. Just my opinion though.

Now what you can take out of that game is the fact that the Dolphins have what it takes to hang with the elite, they just lost to the better team. I will be rooting for the phins to get their act together, the wife is a life long Dolphins fan and if my Niners stink it up at least the wife will be happy.

At least your wife kinda likes football.

Mine absolutely despises it. But, here's the kicker. She loves the Packers, but cannot tell you the first thing about them, nor will she even watch them play. Her family are Bears backers, save for one brother, and he likes the Bengals. Motley crew huh?

lol

Dolphins lost because they forgot who they are. They're the wildcat..its what gives them a chance to win. What do they do? Put it in the hands of a 2nd year quarterback who has young receivers. They'd have had a chance if they left it in the hands of Brown n Williams.

Wide receivers don't play defense. Not saying Ginn hasn't had his share of botched plays (Colts game)... But really 21 lead gone. That's a defensive issue before anything else.

Good day to ya Bull. I hate the Packers, but still love your wife. JOKING JOKING, don't go shooting at me buddy.

My wife is a diehard football fan, at first it was obnoxious but I have grown to enjoy it after a few years of teaching her how to watch it. The Dolphins are a good team for her to like because there is no reason to hate the Dolphins.

What do you expect from a tSlowsu player?

Gutless play is the Luckeye way. You should know that if you've seen them play in any big game the last 7 or 8 years!
