I'm hoping The Ravens leave a LITTLE, for us.

It doesn't seem fair....that Balti softens-up teams, for us....but, we'll TAKE IT!!!!!

Spend your "bye"-weekend finding a REALLY GOOD CHIN-STRAP, Orton!!!!!!

....And, what're THEY talkin'-about????

*

"A once-daunting schedule now looks at least manageable, especially with games remaining against Washington (2-4), Oakland (2-5) and two against Kansas City (1-6).

"Football in Kansas City is just awful," Boomer Esiason said Sunday on CBS at halftime of San Diego's 37-7 beatdown of the Chiefs.

"And it used to be so good too," said James Brown, as if talking about the dead.

Win those four and split the rest and the Broncos would end up 13-3. Even allowing a traditional loss in Kansas City or a 2-4 record against the better opponents, the Broncos would still end up 12-4, with an excellent chance at a first-round bye in the playoffs."

I guess, one way NOT to think-about 2 (up-coming; back-to-back) BUTT-WHUPPIN'S, is to consider how much easier your life might be, afterwards.....well, except for those players who're lookin'-at a long-term healing-process.

October 28, 2009  08:42 AM ET

"There will surely come a time, if it's not already here, that the other teams will look at the Denver stretch of their schedule and see that as the difficult spot. When your 6-0, with wins against two of the best in the AFC record-wise (Cincy, New England), the tables turn a little bit. It's fun to discuss, but people in Pittsburgh and Baltimore are running their fingers over their own remaining schedules and suspecting/fearing a big L with the Denver game. All this to say, everybody rocks back on their heels when seeing a formidable opponent ahead."

Oh, you'll see. That terrible D is playing pretty well right now and everyone is getting healthy, especially with the bye week. I doubt you guys will get past Baltimore! Orton will come back down to earth, real soon.

Denver has had 2 games so far in the AFC West... both on the road, and after SD's bye week.

October 29, 2009  04:45 PM ET

Should be a good game though either way....

Its about time! Been hiding for a few years so its nice to see the actual fans come out and support the team when they are winning. (winning only tho) Didnt hear the fans talking last year or the year before....stick by your team ya bandwagon owner.

Orton is no leader...so be careful how high you put him on that pedestal.

SHUT UP D0UCHEBAG!!! Denver beat your loser of a team, just crawl under a rock, do society favor and die. I have been an avid fan of Denver my entire life, last year I was just as avid, but I learned to SHUT UP WHEN MY FAVORITE TEAM LOSES!
Orton is a way better leader than Romo, at least he wins games and doesn't cost his team games (especially in the the playoffs with a kick hold that is closer than an extra point)
I don't want a cookie, but someone was trying to discredit what Denver has accomplished by saying they play in the AFC West, but only one of Denver's games came from a team that puts a negative connotation on the AFC West. I used to use "they beat Dallas" as a defense but that holds no water since Dallas has proved to suck.
