I know what you mean, Keep. We had three consecutive 5-11 seasons, and still have 13 years and counting of no playoff wins. All we as fans can do is hope for improvement, because no team is guaranteed anything. The 07 year we were 13-3, and you'd think we could have at least won a playoff game.

What I do is continue watching and hoping, never giving up, but also being realistic and keeping things in perspective. I also watch other teams play and enjoy the game for what it is. I don't hate any team either. But, that's just me. Hope this helps.

Thats the bad thing about the NFL...its anyones game at any given time. Im disappointed with a lot of teams this season. Lot of blow outs I think are just pathetic. Teams are giving up it seems.

Im in the same boat as you. Its hard watching those late season games when we are usually done half way through the year!!!

Yeah, the ATL game took all the air from my balloon. Then to come out with a 0-21 start the very next game had me saying F. U. C. K. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SAME OLE F. U. C. K. I. N. G. NINERS!. That being said, the season is not over and I really don't see us sinking like we did last year, though I have a feeling it may seem that way after the Colts game hopefully not. But we cannot afford to lose many more games after this week (assuming we lose) but I definitely agree that it is heartbreaking to watch games in Dec hell even mid Nov when my team isn't relevant.

Bull, I'm trying to not hate teams. I made special effort to be complimentary of the Cowboys performance against Atlanta. It's like rewriting my dna though. I was an Oilers fan when I was a little snot-nose in the 70's because of Earl Campbell. I transitioned to the 49ers early in the '81 season as a result, Dallas has always had a target on that star emblem for me. I'm trying though...I'm trying.

If you have to hate the Cowboys, then do so. It's okay with me. Sometimes I can't stand them either, and I'm grown up enough to understand where you and Duke are coming from when it concerns the Cowboys. You won't have any problems with me.

If the man would quit with his name calling and be somewhat civil, I'd chat football or whatever, with him, as will others. This is one of the few times I've seen him act like a civilized adult. I know he can, because he admitted to me in a reply that he loves what he does and that I should see his hate mail....

I did change one basher....(another Cowboy fan, too)..............or maybe stop would be a better word...... once several months ago, but he disappeared. He even issued a board apologizing to the Steeler Nation for his constant barrage of insults. So, Mr Phallus can be changed too, but he'd have to want to.
