NFL  > Cleveland Browns  > Dawg Pound Mike :"STAY AWAY FANS !"
October 29, 2009, 08:02 PM
Lifelong Browns fan and season-ticket holder Mike Randall, aka "Dawg Pound Mike," is encouraging other Cleveland fans to stay away from their seats for the opening kickoff of the Browns' Nov. 16 home game against Baltimore.

Tired of the constant losing since the NFL team's return in 1999, Randall hopes the sight of empty seats for the start of the nationally televised Monday night game will send a loud message to owner Randy Lerner and club officials that fans have had enough.

I feel sorry for Cleveland fans.

1st Art Modell screwz them and sneaks away to Baltimore
( adds insult to injury by winning a SB in 2000 )

Then they finally get another team - but unfortunately the franchise is awarded to one of the leagues worsts owners : RANDY LERNER

This is the guy who bid "against himself" for the services of Eric "the rat " Mangini , and rewarded the Manrat's mangling of the Jets with a multi-million dollar 5 year contract .
Then Lerner hired Manrat's buddy George Kokinis as GM- who promptly began shedding talent like a sheepdog in summer and bunglin' the draft -
( Ironically Sanchez could have been throwing to Braylon Edwards in a Browns uniform instead of as a Jet )

Sad days indeed for a once proud orginazation .
( 8 long forgotten Championships )

SELL YOUR TEAM LERNER ... AND LET A NEW DAY DAWN IN CLEVELAND .

I'm a huge a*hole and I love seeing people fail. I genuinely feel bad for the city of Cleveland though.

I don't disagree with your remarks. Maybe a strong message needs to be sent, BUT.........The new franchise was awarded to "Al" Lerner, who I believe would not have let it come to this. If he wouldn't have passed away, the Browns would at least be slightly better than average and we as fans could at least have legitimate hope. I don't think "Little Randy", who inherited the team, is much of a football fan. His interests lie elsewhere.
