I am a huge Dirk fan, but Dirk is more of a shooting guard that doesn't have the dibbling ability, so Bosh is the better power forward. However if last night has anything to do with the way Dirk is going to play inside and out for the rest of the season then I would say Dirk. That is the first time that I have ever seen Dirk truly take over a game using an inside and outside game.
AUTigerfaninTX makes a good point that Bosh is more of a pure PF than Nowitzki. However, as of right now, Dirk is probably one of the top 10 power forwards ever to play the game--as noted by ESPN a few years ago--and has an MVP on his resume. Bosh may make it into the top 10 PFs of all-time some day, but he'll have to take his team deep in the playoffs and win some NBA hardware---the MVP Award or All-NBA 1st Team would be a nice start. Bosh has enormous upside and potential. But right now, Dirk is the better power foward and the better player.
Dirk....too versitile. Has an unblockable shot, plays from 23 ft on down, could work on his defense, but there hasn't been a BIG like him sense Olajuwan.
there is no argument here. bosh is a very good player, however if he was on any team with dirk he would be coming off the bench. lets be honest here! who can even guard dirk one on one
Duncan may be the best PF of all-time, but this year he is not the best PF in the league. Dirk and Bosh are both playing at a higher level this year.
dirk is playing the way he has always played. i dont see why people that realize that. he has a better squad this year based on the way they are playing defense in the "d", however he is performing the way he has throughout his career.
