So the team with the $200 Million payroll won the WS? Wow what an amazing story. I am so surprised. The real question is why didn't they win the past 8 years with all that payroll?

Until a salary cap comes to baseball, it will be a sham, teams with the largest checkbooks will continue to dominate the leagues, and small market teams will be left to pick up the crumbs.

Believe me, no baseball fan west of the Hudson is celebrating.
