Boston, L.A., Mets, Chicago, Philly, and more than a few others in big cities have the same spending opportunities. And quite frankly do enought spending on their own but don't wanna take any heat for it cause they don't spend as much as the Yankees. How much money did Boston pay JUST to speak to Dice-K? $50 million!!!! Just to speak to him. but that doesnt get added on to the salary cap now does it. How about the teams that recieve money from the yankees from the "luxury tax". Those teams just pocket the money. Shmae on them for fooling their fans into thinking they cared about the product they put on the field. You hate the Yankees, thats fine cuz I don't think a fellow yankee fan like me would want a dumbass like you on our side.

I'm willing to admit the Yankees bought this title (they didn't buy their four in the 1990's-2000 unlike the Sox who had THREE key players who were ALL brought in as FA or because other teams couldn't afford them...) as soon as you admit the Pats three titles are all tainted (Tuck game, Spygate). Funny how Billy B is 0-1 in the Superbowl when he can't cheat...
