Will be interesting to see whether the at-large bids go to one or more 2-loss non-conference champ teams from BCS conferences over undefeated TCU and/or undefeated Boise State. BSU's sole quality win will be a victory over Oregon, who will still most likely win the PAC-10.
I kinda like the clarity of Texas' situation (as opposed to the cluster-f*** last year). If we win 5 more games, we're NC. If we lose any of them, we most likely ain't.
Take away one Big 10 and give it to BSU and you have it. Hard to see Oregon getting a bid and BSU not....
You shouldn't let two non-BCS conference teams in the BCS... I see it going
NC-Bama v. Texas
Fiesta- Iowa v. USC
Orange- GT v. Cinci
Rose-Oregon v. tOSU
Sugar- Florida v. TCU
So you think a 2 loss team would be better than an undefeated top 6 one? And what happens if Iowa beats tOSU or USC picks up a 3rd loss? The big conferences are running low on good teams this year.
As an aside, BSU took it on the chin a bit this week compared to TCU:
-TV game with a low MOV on Friday
-Oregon lost, Clemson won
-TCU won huge and got some air time promoting the game with Utah next week
Based on performance to date, I see
NC- Bama v. Texas
Fiesta - Cincy v. USC
Orange - Pitt v. GT
Rose - Oregon v. OSU
Sugar - Florida v. TCU
I do not see two teams from the Big Ten and I do not see Iowa making it unless they win the conference championship, which admittedly Iowa can do by beating OSU in the Shoe. It however is conceivable that Cincy and Pitt could run the table until meeting on Dec. 5. If that happens and Pitt wins a home game at Heinz field, that will give the Big East two one loss teams. It will be hard to exclude a one loss BCS conference team from the BCS bowls this year.

By the way, t904, "y'all" is a contraction and requires an apostrophe.

Y'all. Yes, I vaguely remember that term. In Ohio, I think it was you guys. Here, in the burgh, it is even better-- yinz.

Someone gave me a welcome sign once (obviously composed by someone who'd never been to Texas) with "y'all" spelled incorrectly. Had it "ya'll". As in what? "Ya will"? Ya will do what? I smiled politely, thanked them for their thoughtful gift, and threw the ****ing thing away right after they left.

Yinz or Yunz? I could never tell.
If Texas can hold up their end of the deal, we'll be up for another SEC-Big 12 NCG match-up. Try not to lose, 'Horns.

Beautiful. When I got to the Burgh, a co-worker used the term yinz with me. After the obligatory WTH, I had her spend half and hour with me deconstructing the two sentences she communicated to me in English. I learned several unique terms to the Burgh. And I thought South Georgia was unique.

1 - We're doing our best not to lose.
2 - We're not Zero U. And Stoops is not our coach. Not sayin' y'all won't end up with the crystal trophy, but you better come to the game (assuming you get past 'Bama) prepared to earn the damn thing.

I spell it with an "i." However, I don't think the Burgh deducts for spelling...

Eye candy break. Then I gotta get a few things done before the NFL games start.
This one is from a site that I learned of from a Baylor fan. Since they're our upcoming opponent, I'll see if I can attract his attention for a little pre-game trash talk.
Errr, ummm, speechless..."try the pop tarts, they are breathtaking."

I would think removing the electrical tape would be painful, especially down south.
