NCAAF  > General NCAAF  > Who would replace Urban Meyer at Florida?
November 11, 2009, 04:52 PM
PSU's fine jest involving Urban to ND and "Mack Brown" to Florida made me take pause. While current Gator fans won't even discuss it, reality dictates that Urban will move on at some point be it for ND, the NFL, or Secretary of State. In the current landscape, UF is probably on the top 5 list of every college-leaning coach in America.

Is Charlie Strong right for the job? He has never truly held a HC position and is he ready to maintain the level of excellence?

Who do you see getting the nod?

What are the top 5 most desirable positions circa 2009?

I'd go with (in no order)

USC
tOSU
Alabama
Michigan

with Florida, LSU, PSU, FSU, Texas, and OU constituting the remainder of the top 10 in some order.

Feel free to respond to any or all of the above thoughts or derail away as it's Wednesday and there's no use in a serious thread on a Wednesday.
