Boxing  > General Boxing  > Mayweather and a real fight!

Here's the thing, I'm not a Pac superfan, I like the guy but if he loses I don't mind it. Mosley is my guy and I'd pull for Mosley over him....but Mayweather? Tell me the last time Mayweather not only faught a fighter that was in his prime but also a fighter that was owning the competition like PacMan has been?

Can you name one? I really can't. Hatton was 42 fights deep and even though he was undefeated he had beaten up plenty in recent time prior to that fight. De La Hoya certainly wasn't in his prime and De La Hoya also lacked the pace and speed that Pac brings to the table. Don't anyone say Judah...whether you ever liked Zab or not he wasn't on any level with these guys. You could try to argue Corrales and Castillo. Don't say Gatti, he was always more heart then he was a great fighter. This whole thing would make a great TD except Mayweather has too many fanboys to win arguing against.
