Here's my analysis of this year's season

Final Result - 10-2 (7-1)

Record Breakdown

Conference 7-1
OOC 3-1
VS Ranked 2-1 (Wins: PSU, Iowa; Losses: USC)

Offense
Passing - The passing game was inconsistent this year, with TP throwing for only 1828 yards and 16 touchdowns with 10 interceptions. The deep ball wasn't a huge threat this season, as the coaches mostly kept Pryor passing for 10 or less.
Rushing - Although no one player stood out, Ohio State finished the season on a run of 5 straight games of 200 yards or more rushing. TP led the team with 707 yards, while Herron had the most TDs at 7.

Defense
The Defense looked strong for the second year in a row. The Bucks were 6th in the NCAA in yards allowed, at 262.5 ypg, and were 5th in scoring allowed, at 12.2 ppg.

Good Numbers - 5th straight 10 win season, 5th straight conference championship, 6th straight win over tsun (including 3 straight in Ann Arbor).

Bad Numbers - With USC , OSU is 0-3 in the last two years against Ranked OOC BCS opponents.

Pleasant Surprise (Offense) - Brandon Saine. I liked his combo of speed and power. He finished the season with more yards than Herron on less caries and with only 3 less TDs.

Pleasant Surprise (Defense) - Brian Rolle - Rolle had the 2nd most tackles on the Buckeyes team, had the 4th most tackles for loss, and had an impressive interception return for 2 against Navy. I see success in Rolle's future.

Disapointments - The come from behind win by USC, the upset at Purdue.

Final BCS ranking - Currently 9

Final Conclusion - Another successful season, this time with a Rose Bowl berth and an Outright Big Ten Championship.

Feel free to add anything you can think of.
