Just an interesting question. Where do you see the MLS in 20 years?

a. Lower than it is now
b. Where it is now
c. At the level of the Scottish Premier League (with the exception of Celtic and Rangers)
d. Higher

Me personally, I pick C. Or at least I hope that's where it is in 20 years. (Rangers and Celtic are a league on their own). If people, especially celebs, keep influencing soccer in the states, I can see more people beginning to take an interest. Especially in these newer teams. We saw that this year in Seattle. What a wonderful way to get people excited. In 20 years, every team should have their own stadium, which results in them keeping their ticket profits.

I'm not one to say that the MLS will rival the EPL or the Spanish leagues. But I hope that it can become a dominant force in the western world. I'd love to see it become better than Mexico's league personally.

I am posting because this thread should not be buried behind CONCACAF news releases. It is a vital point and more fans of this board should express their views so we all can gain a better perspective of the subject. Apparently, Thierry Henry has signed with NY.

It would be good for world Soccer if the MLS can improve, right now south America and Europe dominate world football. A strong US would bring more fans to the sport!
