Looks like it could be a rough draw for the U.S. on Friday. The Americans landed in Pot 2 with the weakest teams of the 32 qualified for South Africa 2010.

That means the U.S. may face another Group of Death like the one it drew in 2006 (with Italy, Czech Republic and Ghana).

Some nightmare group scenarios for the U.S.:
* Brazil, Portugal, Ivory Coast
* Spain, Serbia, Ghana
* Germany, France, Paraguay
* Argentina, Denmark, Nigeria

What do you think? Is the U.S. in trouble? Do you foresee another three-and-out? Maybe they'll luck out and draw South Africa out of Pot 1?
