Every game it seems the refs give any team opposing the penguins more penalties. Crosby dives every time someone comes within two feet of him and it is never called as a dive. It is always a penalty against the opposition. Crosby kicks in pucks with a distinct kicking motion and the goals count for him. Why is the NHL becoming such a joke? How can people watch this garbage? The Penguins and Crosby are treated like spoiled children. Rules do not apply to their team and it is getting out of control. As a Penguins fan I am disgusted by this special treatment every game and my friends make fun of me for being a penguins fan. I wish the NHL would just stop glorifying Crosby and stop trying so hard to give him so many opportunities to score to get on the stats sheet. Who cares if he is the "face of the NHL" or the "Next One", everybody knows that he will never come close to Gretzky, or Ovechkin for that matter. I would like to see him earn every opportunity instead of being handed every opportunity. This is taking the excitement out of the game. Its nice being a fan of Pittsburgh to expect them to win every game due to unfair officiating, or a disallowed goal by the opposition because the ref blew the whistle as the puck is crossing the goal line, but it is not exciting any more. I just want my favorite team to win on their own and prove they have a chance to win the cup. I don't want them to be given the cup like last year. It was an empty feeling watching them hold the cup after being handed every chance by the officials throughout the entire playoffs.
