NFL  > New York Giants  > Extreme "Defense" Makeover (Giants vs Cowboys)
December 6, 2009, 10:15 PM
After the Thanksgiving Turkey, I really didn't know what to expect coming into this game.

During the week the benching of Osi I felt was a smart move and a smart to really makeover this Defense to find their identities which has been non existent all year.

Like the first game this one also on paper Dallas should have won but the Giants were able to make just enough plays on but offense and defense and also for the first time on special teams to get the win.

First, Stopping the Dallas run. This was really the key factor in the game. I loved to subs by the Giants on Defense with Kiwi and Cofeild. Rouse also had a huge game. All the shifting and pressure was great to see and very promising for our final 4 games. We still got beat a lot on 3rd down but we didn't get beat on big plays and kept the game manageable. It's a step in the right direction

I'm still concerned about the O-line, The pressure on Eli is getting intense and nerve racking now to watch because the line isn't as strong as it used to be. This might be something to look into when it comes to next years draft.

Overall, Great win but then again we haven't won anything yet. Let's get in the playoffs and be the spoilers like we are meant to be.
