NBA  > General NBA  > LeBron to da Knicks? BOOK IT
December 9, 2009, 01:13 PM
Listen guys, this thing is a done deal. Why on earth would LeBron want to stay on a team that clearly has zero chance of ever winning anything and is located in a third rate crime ridden warzone when he could head to NYC?

Think about it, regardless of what people say, sponsors WILL pay him more simply for being in a bigger market. He'll also get more notice around the world playing in a world renown city.

Plus, he stands the risk of being labelled a loser by playing his whole career in Cleveland. The city is known worldwide as "the City of Losers" while NYC is known as "Titletown".

If LeBron heads to NYC , the Knicks will have their pick of ANY of the other top free agents. Wade, Bosh and Bron on the floor together? Very possible. He would realistically have a chance to equal MJ in NYC if he won multiple titles. If he stays in Cleveland, at best he'll be forgotten and at worse he'll be remembered as yet another Cleveland loser.
