NCAAF  > General NCAAF  > Cincinnati: Moment of truth
December 10, 2009, 09:20 AM
To quote an ineffective Microsoft ad campaign.. Cincinnati Bearcats, where do you want to go today?

1. Stewart Mandel claims that Cincy's poor TV ratings and travel history resulted in the undefeated Bearcats getting picked last behind a two loss Big Ten team and two Non-BCS teams.

2. Your coach's interest in the Notre Dame job is a worse-kept secret than Tiger's infidelity.

3. You are undefeated, but a 10+ point underdog to Florida.

Welcome to the Big Time.

Cincy faces a moment of truth here. How can the Bearcats show they belong as a perrenial contender by:
1) travelling well to the Sugar Bowl?
2) Finding some way, any way, to keep thier coach... or bring in a coach that will continue to build the program? Who?
3) Keeping the Florida game close?

Or will Cincy be the next Right Said Fred of college football: a "Too Sexy" one-hit wonder?
