NFL  > San Francisco 49ers  > PLEASE SELL OUR TEAM> JED IS ANOTHER AL DAVIS
December 10, 2009, 03:39 PM
I'm sitting here on 12/10/09 it's 11:45 in the morning and I'm listening to an interview with Jed York.
When asked how he felt about Singletary: York replied Singletary would be around for a long, long, long time. So continues the 49er slide into the abyss.
Would they consider Holmgren: No
How do you feel about the team? York has said that he is happy with the improvement with Alex Smith and he is the future. It is clear to this day that the York family management made the wrong move when they failed to notice just across the bay the development of a young Aaron Rodgers at Berkley. Why?
About stadium plans: They are going to do it in Santa Clara, of coarse he didn't say when construction will begin, another trait of his is to put things off.
Would he consider Holmgren as a GM? No,The 49ers are going to stick with Scott McCloughan as the GM.
I don't know what York is trying to sell but with his closed mind and a stead fast belief that everything he touches will turn to gold is something that the 49er fans should be wary of for as long as he is charge. He made a big mistake in hiring Singletary after the final game and in the locker room, wrong move. Fans are upset that, even though they were promised a new stadium years ago, since the York family has been in charge there has been no progress. The Raiders can blame Al Davis's irrational moves as senility. So what's York's excuse?
