Yup...that.........its going to go between...Ovechkin (like he's not going to be here)...21 goals in 25 games..to go along with 37 points. He IS the Capitals. The guy does it all...and i already have him as THEE all-time best left-winger in NHL history. Bobby who? Yup, i said it. Ovechkin > Hull. He's on pace for 60+ goals...AGAIN.

The other candidate is.........Jumbo Joe Thornton....37 assists in 34 games to go along with 44 points. He's the center of the leagues best line and he's on pace for 90 assists and 106 points. Withoit him, the Sharks have nobody to pass to Marleau and Heatley.

The last candidate is....Ryan Miller.....i've mentioned his stats already..937%. If he can post that high a save percentage...its his.

Honorable mention.......Sidney Crosby...21 goals in 33 games..to go along with 41 points. He's on pace for his very 1st 50 goal season to go along with another 100 point season....who knew he had it in him? Not i.

Long shot? HATE to say it...HATE....









Phil Kessel.......the Laffs are 11-7-3 with him in the line-up...and 1-11 without. He currently has 12 goals in 21 games...he's on pace for a 40 goal season to go along with 67 points. If he can flirt with 50 this seaosn, the writers will have a very tough job of over-looking him....oh yeah...the Leafs have GOT to make the play-off for that to happen as well. Without the play-offs, he wont get a look.


The winner this year............







Ryan Miller.......if he can maintain a goals against below 2 and a save percentage above 930%....i'm telling you...its his........that high a save percentage is unheard of. Thats akin to a player scoring 70 goals.
